Purchased new in 2022, this Margiaux 901A is a terrific oboe! At almost exactly 2 years old, this oboe was very lovingly cared for and lightly played. Current owner is a professional, orchestral musician. A brief break-in period was done but no real extended period of playing or performing has been done. Would likely benefit from a break-in period. We just put the instrument through our shop for a full pre-sale evaluation; all pads/mechanisms checked, bore oiled, no cracks! This instrument is in as like-new condition as can be! With an excellent pitch & scale and great response, this instrument would be at home in pretty much any performance setting. Comes in original Marigaux hard case with nylon case cover.
