Solution Oboe Gouging Machine

Oboe Gouging machine by Solution. This machine is a single radius gouge mounted on an aluminum base with the rest of the components made out of stainless steel-chrome. The machine has a 10.5/11mm bed with an 11mm blade (what is considered the standard American setup). The machine also has a guillotine built on to it. Atop the carriage is a dial indicator that will control the gouge thickness. The machine comes set to gouge to .58mm in the center. To adjust the gouge you loosen the screw and turn the dial clockwise or counterclockwise to customize the gouge. Blade adjustment is controlled by the knob on the carriage. A simple flat-head screwdriver is required to loosen, lower, and adjust the height.
