Currently, MMI stocks the F-type contra bocals, available with silver or platinum plating. These bocals feature stable pitch, great dynamic range, and reliable response in all registers of the instrument.

Try them for yourself! Like anything with contrabassoons, you have to try them to see if they're a good fit for your particular setup. These bocals work great with Amati contras, but Fox or Mollenhauer players should consider these bocals as well.
