Fox Renard Model 41 Bassoon
Call for Price
Fox Renard bassoons are the instruments of choice for both students and teachers across the US. Their even, consistent scales make them usable by even the youngest players, and their tone quality sets them apart from the competition. Their combination of quality and affordability blows the competition away.
The Renard Model 41 is a polypropylene instrument. As a result, the design emphasizes accessibility, practicality, and durability. The 41 is the quintessential starter bassoon in the Renard line. The tone quality, however, is not sacrificed just because it is a beginner instrument. Like all Fox bassoons, this instrument has silver plating on all key work.
Additional Features
The 41 features a plateau key for the left hand third finger; additionally, it has a thumb Ab key on the boot. This instrument also lacks high D and E keys. These missing keys allow the instrument more affordability and accessibility, but it is not ideal for more advanced players.
This bassoon comes with a Fox C2 and C3 bocal. It also comes in a Tutti Fagotti case.
