Brundage contra reeds boast an easy response. They're easy to achieve a great tone with, while still providing some resistance to create different colors. These reeds can be used by folks both new and familiar with the contrabassoon. It performs well in the lowest octave but still can get good response in the higher registers of the contra. This reed should achieve good results on any make of contra, from Amati to Fox and beyond.
