Dating from the mid-80s, this Loree Standard bore oboe is in excellent condition. Just through the shop for a full servicing - instrument was disassembled, all keywork cleaned, tone holes cleaned and resurfaced, bore oiled, all pads & mechanisms checked and replaced where necessary key fitting upon re-assembly, full play test and regulation. There are a few small cracks in the top joint that have been pinned, sealed, and cosmetically finished in our shop. This oboe has a very comfortable feel to it. Very responsive and free-blowing with just the right amount of resistance. It has a lovely tone and would be quite at home in the hands of students and professionals alike. Comes in hard case with nylon case cover. Also included with the purchase of this instrument is a 1-year *new crack* and maintenance warranty.
