This professional model oboe has a high quality plastic resin top joint with select grenadilla middle joint and bell, which combines the superior tone quality of wood with the peace of mind that the top joint will never crack. It has 18% nickel silver keys with nickel silver hinge tubing and heavy silver plating, metal-lined tenon sockets, and stainless steel arbors and wire springs. The handmade full-conservatory mechanism includes low Bb, left F, split ring D (Eb-E trill), forked-F resonance, F# key tab, Bb-B trill, articulated B-C# mechanism, G#-A trill, and third octave key. Cork pads on low C and above, and teflon tipped stainless steel adjusting screws are standard.Comes in a French-style leather covered case with case cover and accessories. 2-year crack and 1-year adjustment warranty included with purchase.
